Today, the United States is stronger and better positioned to seize theopportunities of a still new century and safeguard our interests against therisks of an insecure world. The President’s new National SecurityStrategy provides a vision and strategy for advancing the nation’sinterests, universal values, and a rules-based international order through strongand sustainable American leadership. The strategy sets out the principles andpriorities thatdescribe how America will lead the world toward greater peaceand a new prosperity.
今天，美國更加強大，所處的形勢更加有利，可以更好的把握仍然處于新世紀時代的各種機會，捍衛我們的國家利益，抵御這個不安全世界中的各種風險。總統的《國家安全戰略》為利用美國強有力、可持續的領導地位促進國家利益、普世價值、基于原則的國際秩序提供了一個愿景和戰略。該戰略為美國領導世界走向更加和平、更加繁榮設定了原則和優先事項。并針對安全、繁榮、價值觀和國際秩序這四個主要方面進行了闡述。

Working withCongress to end the draconian cuts imposed by sequestration that threaten theeffectiveness of our military and other instruments of power.
